Azar


From Spanish, it translates to "chance" or "fate."

Isn't it funny that the word contains both ideas?

  1. I'll bet you that's a localized understanding and can be attributed to religion (no such thing as chance since everything is ordained by God). I've never seen 'azar' used like fate before. Cool observation.
