    he=éle
    &=e
    she=ela

    I'm not sure what that's about.

    On the right:
    S=serpens
    h=homo
    e=eva

    I believe it offers a way of analyzing the poetry/image. As in, the S is like the serpent in the Garden of Eden, separating man (h/homo) and woman (e/eva). I claim no authority, though!
