I use Facebook for buying the odd thing or offloading furniture, like the IKEA dresser I got along the way - it turned out to be a baby change table - and the Adirondack chair that came with the house, made of skis of some kind. I got myself off TikTok. I’m still on Instagram, but mostly just to scroll videos, since I got off TikTok. I never really used Twitter, or X.
I remember reading the term “prosumer”. Someone coined it to describe how we all, or most of us anyway, both produce and consume social media. My ratio is way off. I consume and consume.
Producing on Instagram used to be fun, a draw. That’s changed.
Still, that old format, picture and words, like those booklets to fill out in kindergarten, awaits.
Back to blogging?
This evening I looked at the almost-flowers in the front garden, and a few already-flowers. How would this micro season be labeled?
foxglove spire
peony peel
snapdragon rears its head
sage in flower
here come the poppies
here comes summer
